'Broken hearted' in the Bible

The Lord is near the brokenhearted;He saves those crushed in spirit.

For he did not think to show kindness,but pursued the afflicted, poor, and brokenheartedin order to put them to death.

He heals the brokenheartedand binds up their wounds.

The Spirit of the Lord God is on Me,because the Lord has anointed Meto bring good news to the poor.He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,to proclaim liberty to the captivesand freedom to the prisoners;
